About Ethos Mediation

Meet Nora – Founder & Principal Mediator at Ethos Mediation

Founder & Principal Mediator, Ethos Mediation

With more than a decade of leadership and conflict resolution experience, I bring a calm, clear, and compassionate approach to helping individuals and organizations navigate challenging conversations. I hold a Master of Business Administration (MBA), a Master’s in Human Resource Management (MSc HRM), and a certification in Mindfulness for Professionals.

My diverse background—spanning senior management, human resources, and workplace mediation—means I understand conflict from all sides: emotionally, professionally, and practically. I’ve helped people work through tough conversations, rebuild trust, and find shared ground—without litigation or blame.

What Sets My Practice Apart:
  • Dual Master's Degrees: I bring both business acumen and deep HR insight to the table.

  • Mindfulness-Based Approach: My certification in mindfulness supports calm, focused, and emotionally intelligent dialogue.

  • Ethical & Human-Centered: Every session is rooted in empathy, neutrality, and respect for all voices.

My Mediation Philosophy

I believe conflict doesn’t have to divide us. When approached with empathy and structure, it can actually bring people closer together.

At Ethos Mediation, I provide a safe, neutral space where people can speak honestly, feel heard, and work toward meaningful, lasting resolution. I’m not here to take sides—I’m here to help everyone move forward.

Whether you're dealing with workplace challenges, interpersonal conflict, or family-related matters, I support you with clarity, care, and professionalism.

Why Clients Choose Ethos Mediation

Empathy-Driven Process

You’ll be met with compassion and respect. I listen deeply to understand—not to judge.

Certified in Trauma Informed Practice

I am certified in trauma-informed practice, which means I approach mediation with an understanding of how trauma can affect individuals’ experiences, communication, and decision-making. This approach ensures that the mediation process is safe, respectful, and supportive, helping participants feel empowered and heard, even in emotionally charged or complex situations.

Professional Expertise

With a strong foundation in business and HR, I offer insight into both the emotional and practical layers of conflict.

Mindfulness in Practice

Mindfulness helps anchor the process, so you can stay calm, clear, and present—no matter how complex the conversation.

Sustainable Solutions

This is more than conflict resolution—it’s about building a better way forward, together.

Conflict is difficult—but you don’t have to face it alone. Let’s have a conversation about how I can help.

At Ethos Mediation, we prioritize creating a safe and respectful environment where all parties feel heard and valued. Virtual Sessions

Virtual mediation sessions offer a convenient and accessible way to resolve conflicts from any location. Using secure online platforms, we ensure confidentiality and effective communication. While virtual sessions are a valuable option, face-to-face mediation is often more effective as it allows for better personal connection, clearer communication through body language, and a more natural flow of dialogue. Whenever possible, we recommend in-person sessions for the best resolution experience.

In Person sessions

Face-to-face mediation sessions provide a structured and neutral setting for open dialogue. Meeting in person fosters better communication, builds trust, and allows for clearer understanding through verbal and non-verbal cues. At Ethos Mediation, we create a calm and respectful space where parties can work towards a fair and lasting resolution.

The Cornerstones of Mediation

A Voluntary Process

Mediation is a choice, and all parties engage willingly, fostering a cooperative and solution-focused environment.

Confidentiality

Discussions within mediation remain private, encouraging openness and honesty without fear of repercussions.

Neutrality and Impartiality

The mediator remains unbiased, ensuring that all parties are treated fairly and that the process is balanced.

Self-Determination

Mediation empowers individuals to make their own decisions rather than having outcomes imposed by a third party.

A safe and respectful environment

Mediation provides a structured space where all voices are heard, promoting constructive dialogue and mutual respect.

Mutual Benefit and Collaboration

Unlike litigation, mediation focuses on win-win solutions, fostering understanding and cooperation rather than adversarial outcomes.

At Ethos Mediation, we adhere to the Code of Ethics and Practice set by the Mediators’ Institute of Ireland (MII), ensuring the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and impartiality. Our practice is guided by core principles such as confidentiality, neutrality, voluntary participation, and self-determination, creating a fair and respectful mediation process. By upholding these ethical standards, we provide a trusted and effective environment for resolving disputes.

Cost of Mediation

The cost of mediation varies depending on the nature of the case, its complexity, and the number of sessions required. Every dispute is unique, and mediation is tailored to meet the specific needs of the parties involved. Factors such as the time required, the number of participants, and the complexity of the issues can influence the overall cost.

To ensure transparency, we offer a free initial consultation, where we assess the situation and explain the mediation process. After this consultation, we will provide a clear, upfront quote with no hidden costs, so both parties know exactly what to expect before committing to mediation.

Our goal is to provide a cost-effective and fair resolution process, giving you control over both the outcome and the expenses involved.
